If you’ve missed my book reviews for the past couple months, they are back! This month I am reviewing The Ex Hex, right in time for Halloween. I love a good witchy romance. I used one of my Audible credits for this month and enjoyed listening to it while driving around town.

The book is about a witch named Vivi, it starts off with her at 19 years old completely broken-hearted over a boy. She nurses her broken heart with vodka a bubble bath and a lighthearted curse. She didn’t think she would end up actually cursing Rhys using a Bath and Body Works candle, but 9 years later when Rhys comes back to town on his family’s witchy business things start going really wrong. Rhys and Vivi spend time together trying to break the curse, and sparks start to fly all over again.

This book is super cute and fun for this time of year. It was an easy one to get through, and enjoyable to listen to on Audible.

Fall Bucket List

I absolutely love all things fall, unfortunately we don’t get much of a fall where I live. I still love to decorate and do all the fun things that I possibly can! I created a fall bucket list for those who also love doing fun activities this time of year, no matter the weather!

Here is a small list to get started! I also absolutely love-

• Making S’mores

• Picking up Apple Cider foods and drinks

• Taking fall photos

• Decorating for fall

• Watch Hocus Pocus (for me this is a must do every year)

• Taking a hike

• Road trip to see the leaves change color

I hope this gave you some ideas on what to do this October! I love to cuddle up with a fall drink and a cozy blanket and watch a not scary Halloween movie and then going out and doing a fun fall activity!

Fall Date Ideas

There’s something about fall that makes dates feel extra cozy and fun (even in Arizona)! Here are my top 10 picks for fun dates during the fall, no matter where you live!

1. Grab some festive snacks and have a Halloween movie marathon! I’m planning on doing this with my boyfriend and even creating a cute little invite for him on Canva.

2. S’mores and Stars! Grab a blanket and go outside and roast some s’mores and watch the stars.

3. Pick Pumpkins and carve them! You could turn this into a competition and even have a fun prize at the end. Winners choice!

4. Taste Test Pumpkin Items from Trader Joe’s!

5. Do a Fall DIY! There are endless fall diy projects that you can do! Create a fall sign together or maybe make some holiday decor! Make pumpkin candles or other goodies then then use them together!

6. Tailgate and watch football. This would be an ideal date for my boyfriend I know he would love this one!

7. Create a new tradition for the season!

8. Have a cook off! Use fall items to create. Or make it a spooky one!

9. Bake a pie together.

10. Go to a local event! In Scottsdale we have the Fairmont Princess hosting a really fun one!
