I’m going to start off with a couple fashion favorites.

These athletic items are so amazing! The leggings are an amazing dupe for the lululemon aligns, and so is the tank! I have three different colors. This skirt is also so fun for tennis and golf!

The sneakers are my go to! They are extremely comfortable and lightweight.

These boots are so good! Everyone needs a fun pair of white boots. You can also shop all of my other shoe favorites!

How To Work With Brands

How to work with companies as an influencer/blogger?! I love teaching this to bloggers. I coach and I also have an ebook on this topic!

First, I would say to make sure to interact with them on Instagram. Companies want to see that you have a genuine love for the company! This will help get you noticed.

Next, have a pitch ready for them! I like to have a general email that I can switch up depending on the company, and add in personal touches to.

Last, have an Instagram that is business friendly! Be professional, and have a great aesthetic. This draws companies to you, which is how I get a ton of my collaborations.

These are just a couple simple tips to get you started. If you are serious about growing your page and turning it into a business I highly recommend grabbing the ebook!

July Book Review

My July book was another audiobook! Guyton and I listened to multiple while on our long road trip to Wyoming. The book I enjoyed the most on the trip was called The Last Thing He Told Me, by Laura Dave. This was a Reese’s book club pick, which I didn’t see until later on.

The book starts off with Hannah, the main character, getting an ominous note dropped off to her from her husband. It said “protect her”. Her husband Owen becomes wanted in an investigation and Hannah is left to care for his teenage daughter Bailey. More and more details come to light as the book goes on as to who Owen really is and what secrets he is hiding.

I don’t want to give too much away, but we definitely enjoyed this book and it helped to keep us awake on our drive. I loved how it was suspenseful but not overly so. It kept me wanting to know more and discover what it was that was being hidden from Hannah.

I highly recommend the audio book version as well! The narrator did a great job and I was very entertained.

I hope you all have been loving these monthly book reviews as much as I am! If you have any book recommendations feel free to message me on Instagram.

How To Grow and Make Money on LIKEtoKNOW.it

This post is for all of my blogger/influencer friends who are struggling to make money on LIKEtoKNOW.it. I struggled with it for a long time when I first started and in the past year have really just started changing what it is that I do to make money off of the app.

The one thing that actually really started to change the game for me was to post everything on Pinterest. Pinterest is so underutilized and I hardly used it for a long time. I have realized the more consistent I am with it the more views I am getting every month and it just keeps growing.

I also use searchable keywords for people that are shopping the app. This helps me so much! I also post some of them to my social media but I don’t want to overwhelm my followers with tons of graphics and things like that.

Growing on LIKEtoKNOW.it is hard, I have found success in growing by staying consistent and using incentives for people to follow me on there.

I have learned that just being extremely consistent and posting to the app at least 5 times a day is really what will help you generate money and really maximize the app.

I hope these couple tips helped you if you are struggling with seeing return on the app. It is very competitive but it is possible to make money off of LIKEtoKNOW.it.

Packing For Road Trip

I love road tripping! Every year my boyfriend and I go to Wyoming in the summer. It is such a nice escape from the Arizona heat! One thing I love about not flying is that I can pack whatever I want! I brought a duffel bag and my suit case, which is what I usually do for the trip. We are going for 10 days! I like to have a variety of outfits and I am a classic overpacker.

My suitcase has pockets for shoes and a couple zippered areas. I used the large one for underwear and bathing suits. I left the other one empty to put my dirty stuff in!

I also have two sides which I try to divide up. I use one side for the majority of my clothing and the other for most of the other stuff plus whatever clothes don’t fit.

In my duffel I put all of my makeup and toiletries and anything else I could possibly need! Since we are driving I am leaving my cowgirl boots out of my bags and will just throw them in the truck with everything else!

I personally don’t like packing but I try to make it organized at first, because when I come home my luggage is a total mess!

How To Say No To A Brand

To all of my blogger and influencer friends- Saying no to a brand can be hard! It is totally okay to set the boundaries of what you want. Don’t be afraid to walk away if they are not meeting your requirements!

It can be difficult to say no or to push for what it is that you deserve. I hear bloggers all the time saying they don’t know what they should be paid and there are a lot of brand that take advantage of that. I have worked with tons of different kinds of companies and one thing I have not been afraid to say is- no.

But how do you politely say no? If you want to work with a brand you don’t want to just automatically say no but you can negotiate for what it is that you want.

Here is an example of what to say to a brand-

Thank you so much again for being open to a partnership with me. At this time my content calendar only allows for guaranteed post spots for paid campaigns. Photoshoots, editing, writing captions, engaging with my audience & answering questions all takes time and talent and I want to make sure my content is as high quality as possible.. Like any business it is very hard to work for free. I’d love to continue this discussion so we could come together to make a great partnership happen.

This is a great way of saying- I am also a business. Please pay me for my time and work I am putting into this.

As a full time creator I take negotiating my terms very seriously! I need to be able to support myself financially, so I have no problem turning away collaborations that don’t want to pay me for my time.

If you want to know how to find paid partnerships and grow your audience I have an ebook on how I grew mine. Click here for the ebook ! It is currently on sale for only $20. If you are needing help coming up with content I also have a content idea planner to help! Grab now for only $7!

Summer Reads! May Book Recommendation

Hi everyone! I’m back with another book review for this month. May’s book is Tools of Engagement. This book is super cute. It is another fun light read for summer! The perfect book to hang out by the pool and read.

This story is about perfectionist Bethany Castle who is on a man-cleanse and her cute foreman Wes. Wes comes to town and starts working for Bethanys brother, which leads to him quitting to help out Bethany with her house flip. The siblings get stuck in a reality TV house flipping rivalry, with Wes on team Bethany.

They take a house that badly needs to be redone and team up to do it together. There is plenty of funny jokes and banter between the two of them and pretty soon it becomes more than just a house flip!

I love reading feel good novels like this one. Very entertaining and doesn’t take long to get through! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun romance.

8/10

Stay tuned every month to see what book I will be reviewing!

Side Hustle Ideas 2021

There is no better time to start a side hustle then now! I myself have a bunch of side hustles. In fact some would consider my job a side hustle! Depending on how much time you have, I have made a list of some great side hustles to make more money this year.

First one is blogging! This is my full time job. I work as an influencer/blogger. You can make money through affiliate marketing, paid collabs’s and some other ways! I also coach women how to do this which is part of my side hustle!

Become a tutor/teacher. There are tons of ways to do this! I know people who work for VIP Kid and love it. You can pick what hours you work. This one you must have a degree but it doesn’t have to be in teaching.

Selling old items or things you just don’t need anymore. I sell my clothes and tons of other stuff. I love clearing out my closet and room because as a blogger I receive free items and also shop a lot.

Find a passion and make money off of it. What are you passionate about? Or what are you good at? How can you turn it into a side hustle? I personally have horses and use that on the side!

An ebook is a great way to make more money! I have an ebook on how to grow your Instagram to 10K and work with companies! Here is the link for the ebook.

You can also have additional digital products to sell based off of your knowledge! I have one of these also and priced it to sell! Link to my content planner.

I hope you found this post helpful! Follow me for weekly blog posts.

A Day In The Life Of A Full Time Blogger

Welcome or welcome back to the blog! For those of you who don’t know my name is Chloe, I am an Arizona based blogger and influencer. This is my full time job and I love it! I am also trying to get into real estate but that is another topic for another day.

I wanted to go through what some of my days are like working as a blogger! It is a super misunderstood job and most people have ideas about what it may be like vs what it is really like.

My day usually starts out waking up between 6:15 and 7. I don’t set an alarm this is just when I naturally wake up. I start by checking my email and seeing if I have gotten any messages from brands. I get tons of emails every day and try to be really good about keeping track of them!

I then move on to engagement on Instagram. I like to make sure I respond to all of my comments and DMs that I haven’t gotten to yet.

I usually get up and get ready for my day after that. I like to take a little time to meditate and prepare myself for the day. I also make sure to eat breakfast, because I know I won’t feel good if I skip it. After I’ve gotten ready I spend some time working on graphics on Canva. I run multiple accounts so I like to make sure I have lots of content for each account. I also create my LIKEtoKNOW.it graphics and see what clothing is new and what’s on sale that I think my audience will love. I then share it to Instagram and also Pinterest!

I have been trying to get in at home workouts but that doesn’t always happen, I need to get better about it. I like to take little breaks throughout the afternoon because being on your phone and computer for so long is draining. I catch up on shows I have missed while I have lunch and read some of the book I review for the book of the month!

I like to take time to research trends and things I can use to increase my visibility online. I am constantly working on bettering my content and overcoming the algorithm! I also like to make a list of potential collaborations and send out pitch emails around this time.

In the early to late afternoon I do my post for the day. I don’t plan posts so I have to make sure I am available for at least an hour around that time to ensure that, that post is successful!

I usually work on a blog post or do research for an upcoming blog post to round out my day. I do keep engaging and responding to comments and DMs until usually I go to bed.

I also have content shoot days which are a little different! For those I pack a bag of things I have received from companies or that I have purchased that I think people will like. I meet up with a blogger friend and we shoot at a designated location for the day. This usually takes a couple hours at least and then I go home and review, delete and edit all of the photos that I took for the day.

One thing I love about blogging is that every day is different and that is part of the fun! I am never bored and I am always thankful I am not sitting at a desk in an office I hate.
