The Best Dry Shampoo

Okay guys…this blog post is long overdue but I have had the hardest time finding a dry shampoo I’ve liked! I have tried so so many and I am going to share with you my pros and cons on the popular dry shampoos on the market.

First up we have the Water L>SS dry shampoo. For $6.49 at Target this is my favorite cheap pick. It doesn’t show a bunch of residue which is amazing! It does however make your hair feel a little crunchy sometimes.

Next on the list is SGX NYC. This is a decent one. It smells good but does leave residue. If you are blonde with is a good inexpensive option! Being a brunette though, this is not my favorite. It is $7.99 at Target!

Now on to the higher level dry shampoos, is the Living Proof perfect hair day! This one is not my favorite for the price. It is $21.99 at Target and it is not great for brunettes in my opinion! The residue really sticks to your hairs.

My last pick is the best one! I told @the.blonde.bar that I didn’t like any dry shampoos and she showed me one that she carries which is by Davines. This one smells fantastic as well as doesn’t leave a bunch of residue in your hair! This one is the most expensive option at $29.50 but it is worth it in my opinion.

How To Gain New Instagram Followers Every Single Day

Hi everyone! Because I coach other women and help them to grow their following, and I also wrote an ebook on the topic, I thought I would share some easy tips on how to grow your followers everyday!

My first tip is to post at least 4 days a week when it comes to in feed photos. This may seem like a lot or it may seem manageable! I like to try to post five photos a week but that doesn’t always happen.

Next post reels every week. This is the tip that is much harder to do but I have seen create so much success. Instagram actually recommends that you post at least 3 in feed photos at 4 reels every single week to grow your following. And also be posting to stories everyday!

This one may seem simple but having an easy on the eyes feed is a good way to grow followers. If you feed looks like a mess and has a lot of low quality or poorly edited photos, not may people will want to follow you.

The companies that I work with always say they love my feed, and I get a lot of collaboration requests because of it. When I talk to the girls that I coach I go over their feed with them and show them what is working and what isn’t.

I also like to promote my posts. This is a great tool to grow without having to join any giveaways or anything like that! You will gain likes on your photos and new followers if you are promoting quality photos!

I hope these quick and easy tips helped you. If you are needing more help make sure to check out my ebook or DM my coaching page @thebusybco for private sessions!

The Best Places To Take Photos In Arizona Part 2

I got a ton of requests to showcase places to take photos around Scottsdale and Phoenix. I decided making it into two parts would be the best way.

First up is DC Ranch! This place is great for photo shoots. It isn’t usually very busy and there are a ton of places with great lighting.

Hotels are some of my favorite places for great aesthetic spots. I picked two that I absolutely love!

First up is The Scott. There are tons of spots around this hotel to get amazing photos! The atmosphere is perfect.

Civana in Carefree is gorgeous! It also has stunning scenery around the property.

Cave Creek’s frontier town is an absolute hidden gem. I love going here to take my photos, especially being in some cute cowgirl boots!

The last spot is City North! There are lots of spots that are great for bloggers to come and take photos.

I hope this helped give you some ideas on where to take photos in AZ!

The Best Spots For Photos in Scottsdale And Phoenix Arizona Part 1

Hi everyone! This is a very requested blog post. I get tons of comments and questions about the best spots in my state. I will share the places I shoot at for my Instagram photos.

First up is Old Town Scottsdale Area! This is a great place for photos. Lots of different places to snap a picture no matter what kind of aesthetic you are going for.

I take photos around the mall as well as over in Old Town. I always get amazing results because there are so many spots!

I wanted to mention the two Airbnb’s I love that are close by to that. Being a blogger they have let me go and take photos there, but they are the cutest places to rent out! They are the Granada Grotto and the Pink Cactus.

Also in Scottsdale I am a big fan of Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter. I frequent both of these places.

We have tons of great restaurant options for photos but that is a whole other blog post! One that is great for photos is the Henry. Also Teaspressa for cute pics and a tea or coffee!

We literally have desert all around us. Taking a photo in the desert is super easy and at golden hour or in the morning is always pretty!

And that’s all for part one…stay tuned for part 2!

New Life Update

Hi everyone! Life has been so crazy lately. I recently started a new job and I am adjusting to blogging and also working. I am in the office Monday Wednesday and Friday now, and it is completely different! I got used to only working from home and for myself. I am now doing social media and online retail for a small business!

I also just had a birthday February 13th! I turned 24 and celebrated by going to brunch with my boyfriend and then we went to happy hour with my best friends!

I have definitely stepped out of my comfort zone which is hard for me to do. I love that I have made some changes and keep on growing! I still plan on expanding my own business and growing that while working part time.

I am also taking coaching clients if you are interested in one on one coaching! For anyone looking for grow their social media and work with brands I help other bloggers step up their Instagram game and land the paid collaborations they are wanting.

What are your big life changes recently?

New Clothing Rack

For my birthday this year I asked for a clothing rack! I have been wanting one for a couple years now. I ordered mine off of Amazon and it was perfect for my room! It fits great in the spot and I love being able to display items I love.

This is what the rack looked like completely empty! It matches perfectly with my room. I wanted to display purses and some other items on the side and try to stick to neutrals for the clothing items.

This is not the final look for my clothing rack! I am still messing around with it and plan on getting some other items for the shelves. So far I am happy with the progress and can’t wait to do more decorating!

Here is the link for my clothing rack if you are interested in purchasing it!

How To Get More Story Views On Instagram

Like many bloggers and content creators, I can sometimes struggle with getting my content seen. I have been testing out ways to push my Instagram story out to more people. These tips actually really work and it have helped me so much!

1. Post at times when your engagement for your audience is higher. You can click on the live button to see how many people are on Instagram currently, that normally interact with your content.

2. Use up to 10 hashtags and also tag your location. These are pretty basic tips but they do help get your content seen by more people.

3. Wait 12 to 24 hours to post again, to try to boost your content when views are lower.

4. This is the game changer right here…after following those steps put up a poll as your first story. Usually when I get the most views it’s on the weekend when I wait 12 to 24 hours and then post a poll first. Instagram likes when you use their features and this really works!

I hope you found this super helpful and that you try it and it works for you. This has really helped me especially with Instagram testing out some different things. I have seen my engagement as well as many other bloggers engagement, go up and down. Try not to get discouraged and use these tips when you need a boost!

Chic Wish Lookbook

Hi everyone! If you know me, you know I love fashion and styling clothes. This weeks post will feature clothes from Chic Wish. They have a great selection of clothing, there is something for everyone on their website.

This first look is an all black outfit. I paired this pleated leather skirt with a black body suit and my favorite over the knee boots.

This next one was more out of my comfort zone. I would typically wear this at home to lounge in but wearing it out I paired it with boots and a jean jacket to style it up!

This sweater is super thick and comfy! I love it with these boots and faux leather leggings. This bag also matched perfectly!

This sweater is also another great one! Very tick material. I love it with these riding boots.

I will link all of these items for you to shop! Shop all of the looks here !

Sedona Day Trip

Living in Arizona is amazing! This state has so much to offer and one of my favorite little road trips is Sedona. I live only an hour and a half away which makes it the perfect escape for the day.

My best friend and I headed up to enjoy lunch, take some pictures, and enjoy the change of scenery. We mostly hung out around Tlaquepaque. Our first stop was The Secret Garden! It is one of my favorite places for lunch. The food is amazing, and they have a covered patio for seating. I highly recommend trying the Taos Club, it is delicious.

Because of the wind and the weather they had the plastic down.

We spent most of the rest of the time walking around. It is so beautiful there. It is busier in the winter, most of the time I go to Sedona during the summer months so there are less people walking around.

Being there you almost feel like you are in another country. It is stunningly picturesque. Day tripping or vacationing in Sedona in general is a great break from reality.

How To Stay Motivated Blogging/On Instagram

This weeks post is a highly requested one. I’ve gotten asked on Instagram many times how I stay motivated to post and to keep creating content. The answer is actually pretty simple…I love it! I genuinely enjoy what I do. I have a great time meeting up with my blogger friends to shoot photos and I have gotten to work with some incredible brands.

Doing what I love motivates me! I know the harder I work and the more consistent I am the more opportunities I get. This job is all about what you make from it. This year has been an extremely hard one. With so many ups and downs this has been consistent for me. I have also been able to grow and get better at what it is that I do.

I have been lucky enough to work with some big brands and gotten chosen for some exciting collabs. Some of my favorite collaborations have been from companies who have reached out to me! They love my page and they pick me to advertise their product and that feels like such an honor.

I got to work with Stella Artois, and they picked me as their micro-influencer for their campaign. That felt absolutely amazing! I had such a great time learning how to work with a bigger company like theirs.

I decided I needed to help other women be able to work with brands and I started my one on one coaching page. I knew that, that wasn’t enough and maybe some people didn’t want one on one so I created an affordable EBook also to help them land paying collabs.

I stay motivated knowing I am making progress and growing. I love to write everything down and to look back and see how far I have come. I consistently add new goals to accomplish and that keeps me motivated.

If you are wanting one on one coaching go to my Instagram page- https://instagram.com/thebusybco

If you just want the EBook- https://gumroad.com/l/YMskz

I hope this helps someone and puts them on a path to success.
