Amazon has tons of amazing styles! I love that I can get them shipped fast and that most of it is so affordable. I love everything from their athletic wear to cute going out, outfits.
I know a lot of my fellow bloggers struggle coming up with content to post, so I wanted to make a “content bingo” for my style/lifestyle blogger friends.
Make sure to screenshot this for ideas on what to post! If you know of anyone who else who could use this make sure to send it their way too!
I always get questions on what products I use for my makeup routine. I use a mix of high end and drugstore products, which I love! I do have eyelash extensions which helps cut down on the time and I also save on mascara, I don’t go through tubes fast.
I use a lot of Charlotte Tilbury products, they are definitely a favorite of mine! I think the quality is amazing.
This one was hard to title. One thing about putting little parts of your life on social media and the internet is you never know who is watching. It is probably my least favorite part. Occasionally I will get a rude comment here or there but I also get people who just want to creep.
The creeps are the worst. I hate seeing people looking at my stuff who are not looking with positive intentions. Anyone who creates a fake account for the purpose of looking at your stuff needs some serious help! Especially when it comes to my blog. My blog is a place for me to really talk about the things I like and things that I don’t necessarily put on Instagram. I first started a blog when I was in middle school. Nobody ever read it and it was basically like having an online diary. Now I have more of an audience and I have to be more careful about what it is that I’m posting.
Dating someone and having their exes like to look at my stuff will never not be beyond weird! Or someone who knows someone I know but doesn’t personally know me but just wants to look at my stuff…will never stop being strange to me.
If you feel compelled to keep track of people constantly that you don’t even know, I feel like it’s time to evaluate your own life. It’s still hard not to let it bother me. Thankfully the majority of my followers follow me because they like my style and product recommendations, or they are just other bloggers that are super supportive.
It got me thinking about who it is that supports our content. The other day on my stories I asked my fellow bloggers if they felt supported by the people in their life and if not who. It made me sad to see how many people said their partners, partners families and their friends didn’t support them. A lot of people could relate to it. My mom and friends have always been supportive of me and think that I work so hard on my content. Then there are other people who don’t understand and think it’s not a “real job” or like to make fun of it. It definitely hurts not getting that support and I know a lot of people give up on blogging because of it.
I like being able to tell the women who need it that if they don’t have a single person in their life who is supporting them, me and so many other women will be there to cheer them on. That is what I’ve found in my community. I have made great friends because of it. So it’s not just a job, it’s so much more.
Anxiety is something I have had for as long as I can remember, when I was a freshman in high school I finally had a name for the feeling. It wasn’t commonly talked about before that. Everyone who has anxiety has a different kind of anxiety, and it can manifest itself in different ways.
I have general anxiety and also social anxiety. When I go out I get easily overwhelmed. I get really bad sensory overload especially in places that are loud with a lot of people and a lot going on. By the end of the night I’m always exhausted. I have also been told I look unhappy, because I’m so in my head in the moment. I always worry about coming off as rude because I get quiet while trying to work through it.
The anxiety can manifest itself as bad physical symptoms as well which is always hard. I know a lot of people can relate to this.
I have a few ways that I cope with it. First, I take supplements for anxiety. There are a ton of good herbal options that you can get from Sprouts or Whole Foods. Second, I use breathing and meditation to try to calm down the feeling. There are so many great exercises such as tapping, yoga breathing, and other similar methods for relaxation. Last, I honestly like watching TV or reading a good book. Anything that is super distracting to the brain.
You aren’t alone if you struggle with this. Sometimes life also throws a lot at us and it may feel completely overwhelming at times. This last month has been the hardest in my life. Some days I have a hard time just leaving the house, but everyday I work on it. It just takes time.
Hi guys! I have so many Amazon favorites for the month. I’m thinking of making this a permanent thing on my blog. I would love to show off all the things I love from Amazon.
I’m going to start off with a couple fashion favorites.
These athletic items are so amazing! The leggings are an amazing dupe for the lululemon aligns, and so is the tank! I have three different colors. This skirt is also so fun for tennis and golf!
The sneakers are my go to! They are extremely comfortable and lightweight.
These boots are so good! Everyone needs a fun pair of white boots. You can also shop all of my other shoe favorites!
You can shop all of the products I love on Amazon right here and follow me on Instagram to see my posts!
How to work with companies as an influencer/blogger?! I love teaching this to bloggers. I coach and I also have an ebook on this topic!
First, I would say to make sure to interact with them on Instagram. Companies want to see that you have a genuine love for the company! This will help get you noticed.
Next, have a pitch ready for them! I like to have a general email that I can switch up depending on the company, and add in personal touches to.
Last, have an Instagram that is business friendly! Be professional, and have a great aesthetic. This draws companies to you, which is how I get a ton of my collaborations.
These are just a couple simple tips to get you started. If you are serious about growing your page and turning it into a business I highly recommend grabbing the ebook!
My July book was another audiobook! Guyton and I listened to multiple while on our long road trip to Wyoming. The book I enjoyed the most on the trip was called The Last Thing He Told Me, by Laura Dave. This was a Reese’s book club pick, which I didn’t see until later on.
The book starts off with Hannah, the main character, getting an ominous note dropped off to her from her husband. It said “protect her”. Her husband Owen becomes wanted in an investigation and Hannah is left to care for his teenage daughter Bailey. More and more details come to light as the book goes on as to who Owen really is and what secrets he is hiding.
I don’t want to give too much away, but we definitely enjoyed this book and it helped to keep us awake on our drive. I loved how it was suspenseful but not overly so. It kept me wanting to know more and discover what it was that was being hidden from Hannah.
I highly recommend the audio book version as well! The narrator did a great job and I was very entertained.
I hope you all have been loving these monthly book reviews as much as I am! If you have any book recommendations feel free to message me on Instagram.
This post is for all of my blogger/influencer friends who are struggling to make money on LIKEtoKNOW.it. I struggled with it for a long time when I first started and in the past year have really just started changing what it is that I do to make money off of the app.
The one thing that actually really started to change the game for me was to post everything on Pinterest. Pinterest is so underutilized and I hardly used it for a long time. I have realized the more consistent I am with it the more views I am getting every month and it just keeps growing.
I also use searchable keywords for people that are shopping the app. This helps me so much! I also post some of them to my social media but I don’t want to overwhelm my followers with tons of graphics and things like that.
Growing on LIKEtoKNOW.it is hard, I have found success in growing by staying consistent and using incentives for people to follow me on there.
I have learned that just being extremely consistent and posting to the app at least 5 times a day is really what will help you generate money and really maximize the app.
I hope these couple tips helped you if you are struggling with seeing return on the app. It is very competitive but it is possible to make money off of LIKEtoKNOW.it.
I love road tripping! Every year my boyfriend and I go to Wyoming in the summer. It is such a nice escape from the Arizona heat! One thing I love about not flying is that I can pack whatever I want! I brought a duffel bag and my suit case, which is what I usually do for the trip. We are going for 10 days! I like to have a variety of outfits and I am a classic overpacker.
My suitcase has pockets for shoes and a couple zippered areas. I used the large one for underwear and bathing suits. I left the other one empty to put my dirty stuff in!
I also have two sides which I try to divide up. I use one side for the majority of my clothing and the other for most of the other stuff plus whatever clothes don’t fit.
In my duffel I put all of my makeup and toiletries and anything else I could possibly need! Since we are driving I am leaving my cowgirl boots out of my bags and will just throw them in the truck with everything else!
I personally don’t like packing but I try to make it organized at first, because when I come home my luggage is a total mess!
